Belki o köhne görünüme rağmen içeride özveriyle çalışan idealist öğretmenler sayesinde; çağdaş demokrasi evrensel hukuk laik Cumhuriyet için çocuklar "yobazlıktan karanlıktan kurtulup, aydın birey olmak" yönünde yol alıyordur. Kısacası Tosunlar okulu ışık saçıyordur.
