We all should frequently visit these places in order to keep our connection with the predecessors strong. Was a little difficult to get to as my GPS went bonkers and it was nighttime. Still was worth every bump, pothole and cobblestoned alleyway I had to navigate through to get there.

This was a really Nice place to visit if you want to learn about some historic places and people. Mountain views Beautiful place to visit. Food and drink or snacks is also available here. A very detailed history from Osman Gazi onwards. A few stalls to buy your Kayi Tribe souvenirs etc.

Sheikh Edebali, (born1206 — died1326), Inac, Turkey was a Turkish Sufi Sheikh known for his purity and education. He is also known with the name Baliseyh. Sheikh Edebali played an important role in developing the shape and policies of the growing Ottoman Empire in Sogut, Turkey. Being descendant of the Banu Tamim tribe and Al-Khater family, he was much respected and honored in the religious circle of the Muslim world of that era. Sheikh Edebali's daughter Rabia Bala Hatun was married to Osman Ghazi, the founder of the great Ottoman Empire. Their marriage took place in 1289 CE. Sheikh Edebali died in 120th year of his age in 1326 CE and was buried in Bilecik, Turkey. The Rabia Bala Hatun and his mother was also buried in the tomb of her father Sheikh Edebali in Bilecik.

Sheikh Edebali (1206-1326) - - the first Qazi(judge) of Ottoman empire was the first person to help Ottoman policy makers and formulation of the Ottoman legislations!! He was influenced by the Sufi of his time Mevlana Rumi!! He was the close friend of Ertugrul Ghazi and later became mentor of 1st Ottoman Sultan Osman Ghazi. His daughter Bala Hatun married 1st Ottoman Sultan Osman Ghazi!! Edabali continued his support and guidance throughout the Osman Ghazi struggles!! His tomb is in Bilejik with famous Osman Ghazi Mosque nearby!! The tombs of his wife and daughter are also situated at the same hill!!
