Odunpazarı Mosque, located in the quarter, was built by Tiryâkizâde Hacı Süleyman Ağa in 1778. Hacı Süleyman Ağa, one of the residents of the Middle neighborhood, established the Es-Seyyid Hacı Süleyman Foundation for this mosque. With the foundation he established, he donated two tanning shops (leather tanning) in the bazaar, two felt shops, 1 shop in hot waters and six real estates (houses). The income to be obtained by renting these places; imam, orator, muezzin, janitor etc. who will work in the mosque. It stipulated that the candles to be used for the illumination of the mosque should be spent for the repair and maintenance of the mosque. Çaloğlu appointed Seyyid Ömer as the trustee (manager) of the foundation. Es-Seyyid Hacı Süleyman Ağa passed away in 1780, two years after he had built the mosque. From the inscription found in the minaret; It is understood that the minaret was built by the children of their father Süleyman Ağa in 1783 to be a gift to his soul. Here we learn that the minaret was built five years after the mosque. Approximately 100 years later, on April 12, 1885, Alaybeyzâde Ali Bey ibni Ömer established the Ali Bey bin Ömer Foundation with the addition of some real estate and cash for the same mosque. Imam, orator, muezzin, cleaner, juzhan etc. reorganizes the wages of officials. It appoints Osman Efendi as the Trustee. The mosque, which has become in need of repair and maintenance over time, is tendered by the Eskisehir Accident Management Council for forty seven thousand five hundred kuruş to be demolished and rebuilt on December 6, 1909. The mosque was completely demolished and rebuilt by Came Hacı Ali Osman Çavuş, who won the tender. The minaret in the left corner on the side of the qibla wall was probably rebuilt at its current location during this construction.
