★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yolu kötü. Dikkatli gidin. Çukurlar her yerde. Lastiklerinizi, aracınızın ön takım elemanlarını düşünüyorsanız yavaş gidin. Kilise neredeyse tamamen yıkılmış. Tek bir duvar haline dönmüş. Bahçesinde hep ceviz ağaçları gördüm. E, köyün adı da cevizli.
 The way is bad. Go carefully. Potholes are everywhere. If you care about your tires and your vehicle's front gear elements, go slow. The church was almost completely destroyed. It has become a single wall. I have always seen walnut trees in his garden. E, the name of the village is walnut.

A very beautiful church. However, a huge picnic table was placed at the church door.
It was built between 899-914 by Asut Koh, one of the Princes of Bagrat who ruled the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bagratlı Krallığı zamanında yapıldığı tahmin edilen kilise günümüze kısmı bir bölümü ile ulaşmayı başarmıştır. Yerel adı Cevizli Kilise olarak geçmekte ve Cevizli Köyü içinde yer almaktadır. Bölgede yer alan tüm kiliselerde ceviz yetiştirildiği için bu kilisenin yerel adı muhtemelen bu şekilde günümüze gelmiştir. Köy iç yolu iyi olmasına karşın Şavşat - Karagöl yolunda kısmi yol yapımı olduğu için bazı kesimlerde yavaş giderseniz sorun yaşamadan ulaşırsınız.
The church, which is estimated to have been built during the Bagratlı Kingdom, has managed to reach the present day with a part of it. Its local name is Cevizli Church and it is located in Cevizli Village. Since walnuts were grown in all churches in the region, the local name of this church probably survived in this way. Although the inner road of the village is good, there is a partial road construction on the Şavşat - Karagöl road, so if you go slowly in some parts, you will reach it without any problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stabilize yol ama iyi, kasislere düşmemek için biraz yavaş gidin. Şavşata geldiyseniz görmelisiniz. Göreceğiniz kilisenin bir duvarı ancak güzel bir ortamı var. Köy güzel manzaralara sahip. Kilisenin etrafında Şavşat ahşap mimarisinin güzel örnekleri var etrafı biraz gezmenizi tavsiye ederim.
Stabilized road but good, go a little slow to avoid bumps. If you come to Savşat you must see it. The church you will see has one wall but a beautiful setting. The village has beautiful views. There are beautiful examples of Şavşat wooden architecture around the church, I recommend you to take a tour around.

Günümüze ulaşan herhangi bir kitabesi bulunmamakta, yazılı kaynaklardan edinilen bilgilere göre 899-914 yılları arasında bölgede egemen olan Bagratlı Prenslerinden Aşut Koh tarafından yapıldığı yazmakta tanıtıcı tabelada..Günümüze kalan hali bir harabe olsa da bu haliyle de görülmeye değer.
Every part of Şavşat is beautiful, and one of the must-see spots is Tbeti Church.
It does not have any epitaph that has survived to the present day, and according to the information obtained from written sources, it is written that it was made by Asut Koh, one of the Princes of Bagratlı, who ruled the region between 899-914.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm local of this village.History lies down there.Queen Tamar of Georgia visited the place when it was golden age of Georgia.And I think there is an old city under ground.Because we just dug near our house for water outlet and i found lots of broken vase which probably was used in cooking or water transportation.And rumors says lots of tunnels are collapsed.I hope this place will be examined.And i hope it gets protection under government as historical artifacts
