The Lumos Deluxe Resort Hotel Alanya

The hotel was amazing the staff were fantastic could not fault them. The only problem was the holiday makers themselves as they were rude and ignorant and made you feel like you were not welcome never said please or thank you to all the staff who were there to help and felt sorry for them as they were treated like dirt. There was a nightclub straight facing the hotel that was very loud and if you have a family then my advice is make sure you are not straight facing it. The food at pool bar with slides were great the pizzas out of this world so hats off to the cheff the main food was really only catered for the majority which were not English and the rudeness of the people when getting your food was disgusting. It is a shame as the hotel and staff you could not fault so I guess the more and more English go then it will become a better nicer and kinder place as the locals around in the shops were so happy when we arrived as they all had the same view that the rest were rude and treated them bad.

10/5 stars! Truly incredible in every possible aspect that you could think of. Everything was over my expectations - the delicious food with fresh ingrediens and nutrients, the hotels interior designs, the service and last but not least the hygiene aspect. In consideration of Covid-19, you have really taken this matter seriously and this really shows in your daily routines. That has contributed alot in us feeling like we are in good hands! Last but not least I want to give many thumbs up to the service and great staff, you are so charming, warm and profesional. I can’t wait to come back! Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. This is definitely a 5 star and you get everything thats expected with a 5 star hotel. The private beach was just so relaxing and mesmerising that we spend most of the days there. A few downsides was the food in the main dining area wasn't a huge option like I'v seen in other 5 star hotels but I think thats down to corona. Also there wasn't any animation teams. But again I think thats down to corona. Other than that I can't fault it in any way.

Loved it here, food is great and the deserts are something magnificent. You'll vibe all night its a really chill environment. The staff is very friendly and the sea is real close to the hotel.

Good things:-most of the staff is friendly -The beach is close to the resort 2 minutea walk -You do find something to eat every day -pool is clean -they provide masks and handsanitiser -clean room and the balcony of our room pretty big(not all of them are) -it has a 24 hours bar service -It does have a bar at every facility -Guest relation was helpfull getting a reservation even if we made it out of the desgnated hours for the a la carte restaurant's The Spa is good they have Lena and Milly which are very good at their Jobs and the guy that makes the reservations is very polite and helpfull. Bad things about thos resort: -There are no sufficient beds next to the pool for how many guests there are -The man taking the luaggages up to the room was very rushed and not friendly at all plus after he ran to the room expected a tip -English is not something that the staff in general knows(no more than 2 or 3 people actually understood what we were saying) -The air conditioning is not working without a card in the room which is kind of annoying since we wanted to start it up and leave for 30 min and come back and shut it down . -You need to expect every day to be the same thing pretty much at breakfast and lunch the variety of food is poor however as I did mention in the good points you can find something to eat . -The Disco next door of the hotel is a plus and a minus .It is nice if you want to have fun ,not so nice if you need to sleep with you window open(why window open,because you can not leave the AC 30 min without being in the room.) -The Fitness room is not that great and the main inconvenient is the light that is very low .The Bike s in they gym are poor quality deffinetly NOT a PELOTON??. Overall it was not a bad experience and there was a good balance between quality received and the price we paid.

Very good place: has its own private beach, great place to stay, delicious food, great rooms

It's a pity that the hotel is so nice (beautiful, large, clean rooms), the food is good (not extraordinary, but ok), the pool and the beach are nice, but there are 2 big problems: 1. the staff doesn't speak English at all, so you can easily get wrong information which can ruin your day, even get into a fight with them (you ask sth, they say Yes without understanding, after that they yell at you why do you do that?!- just an example - probably because of the language barriers they might seem very rude) and 2. the ultra all-inclusive concept for them means that you have some cocktails with local alcoholic drinks, which do not seem of very good quality, probably it depends on your taste. There are additional drinks that you can have for an extra charge, so it is not quite ultra all-inclusive. Another aspect is that they have an a-la-carte restaurant, which is a big marketing lie, you eat better at the general dining room. They could put some more music (at least on the beach and at the pool, not very loud, but at least for some atmosphere). It took 3.5 hours to get from Antalya Airport to the hotel, so overall, you might wanna find something closer and with better-trained people to make your vacation enjoyable.

It was a great holiday! The hotel is modern, beautiful and clean. Close to the beach, pool area very relaxing. Cheap public transport to Alanya. Good food and drinks, delicious desserts. The service staff was helpful and friendly. Turkey is an amazing country and the Lumos Deluxe is worth trying! ? ❤️
