The Land

Çok severek gittiğim, konumu mükemmel olan bir yer. Konaklanılan odalar epey konforlu ve temiz. Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz restoran/cafede vakit geçirmek epey keyifli. Mekanın yöneticileri Guilleme ile Ferhan da sıcakkanlı ve pozitif insanlar. Mekanda yoğunlukla gerçekleşen yoga kampları cabası. Ayrıca doğa yürüyüşleri, tırmanışlar da yapılabiliyor. Mekana ait bir de doğal yüzme havuzu var. Anlat anlat bitmez, gidip kendiniz deneyimlemelisiniz. Kesinlikle tavsiye edilir?

1-5 Eylül'deki yoga kampımıza ev sahipliği yapan eşsiz bir yer. Doğası, havası, tesisin imkanları harika. Odalar rahat ve temiz, yemekler muhteşem (Guillaume gurme bir aşçı), çalışanlar ilgili ve her ihtiyacınızı karşılamak için koşturuyorlar (Ferhan hanımın aurası zaten yetiyor). Yoga platformu büyük ve kullanışlı. En ufak bir sorun yasamadiğım ender tesislerden biri. Bizi öyle bir büyüledi ki bundan sonra her yıl buradayız. Herşey için sonsuz teşekkürler.

The most beautiful and peaceful area

This place is a little piece of Paradise. Once you're there, nothing else matters.

Excellent home cooking. Got vegan food as well (need to notify in advance).

Spartan camp site. Summer visits are questionable as it is very hot during the day but I bet it would be besutiful up here in the winters. This place is designed to be Yoga lovers’ retreat. Clean snd organized.

Besides the cosy rooms and peaceful atmosphere, this place also has heart-warming delicious food :) Buffet spreads cooked fresh according to the needs of each yoga group, including vegetarian, gluten-free, or without onion/garlic. The chef whips up authentic Mediterranean Turkish and Indian cuisine.

The Land is hands down the best camping for climbers on holiday looking for comfort and peace in Geyikbayiri! Its facilities are just amazing and the owners, Guillaume and Ferhan, are extremely friendly and kind. The twelve bungalows, which in reality are more like wide and carefully finished apartments (21 sq. m) each with a toilet and shower are simply great. Hosting from 1 to 4 people each, with double or single beds, and each one being independent with warm water, with heaters provided for the cold nights in winter, and AC for the hot summer. Each one also has a lovely sun terrace with a wide and cushioned sofa to enjoy your coffee with a view in the morning or just read a book before sunset :) The common lounge is super spacious, with its stylish glass doors enclosure, enough to have several people working during the day on their tables thanks to the fast WiFi in place, and a sofa around the fire stove to socialize while keeping warm during the evening. Under the wide platform there is the new common kitchen. Fully equipped, with 8 stove places, a microwave oven, sandwich grill, fridge, warm water, pots and plates, and assigned food space for each bungalow. Next to it, there is a fire stove, indoor tables, and a sofa so there are no issues enjoying every meal. Just outside of the kitchen, you can find a set of big cushioned seats and a big natural pool with running water which gives a truly relaxing atmosphere at all times. Oh, and the sauna was just finished while I was there :) The Land is well known for hosting Yoga groups outside the climbing season. Its yoga platform has everything in terms of space and design, located on the quiet side of the camp, it is a very special place where you can get total peace for your morning meditation. The location of The Land is secluded, away from the noise of the roads, and right in the middle of the lower and higher climber sectors. You can walk to Trebenna in less than 10 min and to Sarkit in less than 15 min. The area has an unmatched "open space" feeling that I didn't experience yet in any other of the camps after 4 years of visiting Geyikbayiri. Guillaume is a gourmet cook and his restaurant frequently offers excellent and delicious world cuisine (Moroccan, Lebanese, Mexican, and more). And just a minute away you can find the Kitchen Caravan offering excellent falafel, hamburgers, coffee, and the most exquisite Chocolate Moelleux. For all of the above and even more, The Land is really a nature haven and the place where you can always relax before or after climbing.
