The Bodrum by Paramount Hotels & Resorts

From the first view the hotel is like “woow” effect, especially reception! But if you look closer - furniture, equipment are dirty, outdated and tainted, the food is not diverse and not very tasty (( There are a lot minor issues !

The territory of the hotel is very big, you can take a buggy where you want to. very important that the hotel had a lot of greenery, flowers, palms, different types trees, and statues, this all you can see in this hotel, the nature here is very pleasant . All rooms have a good wiew and most of the rooms have a private pools. All and all if you want a silent and high class holiday in Bodrum, you will not rehret choosing The Bodrum by Paramount hotels. luxurious rooms and fabulous food with best staff.

That was a one week stay. Pretty cool, nice view on the Mediterranean sea, specially when you wake up. Nice food in the buffet, morning, lunch and in the evening. The swimming pool was great, quite cold but that was OK. The restaurant from the swimming pool suggests nice food like Turkish doner, seafood salad, pizzas,... The fitness is OK, all the equipment is there, and since the spa is in the same building you can go to the sauna or hammam right after your training. The only "negative point" is that the hotel is so big from the lobby to the swimming pool it takes 5-10 min by walking. Haha that is quite "whinny" but after a whole day of sunbath you don't want to climb all the mountains to go to your room. Sometimes you can take the "bus" (golf cart) and it can drop you anywhere.

Things that I liked : Beautiful suite ( Set suite) with a private pool , Beautiful views , 25 minutes from airport by taxi which is good , 25 minutes to the down town and Marina area . safety lock available on the door leading to the pool. Baby sitting was available any time , kids club is close to the pool where you can put your baby and stay close at the same time.They have a movie room which was nice , and a bedroom with small lovely beds . Water Sports activity was nice , we've booked a trip to swim with the Dolphins , They take you to the place by a small boat , It was a lovely experience where you swim with the dolphin and they take tons of amazing pictures for you . Photographers around the pool are very helpful they take beautiful spontaneous pictures of you , A little bit pricy but the memories worth it. The spa experience was ok , we felt a little bit rushed but it was relaxing. What I didn't like : No safety lock on the main door of the suite , my 2 year old can open the door and go out easily because even when you lock it it can be opened from the inside without unlocking and this was extremely uncomfortable. A lot of misunderstanding when ordering by phone from the private dinning because of the lack of English. Kids club facilities are very poor , Theres no toys inside , My 4 year old didn't want to stay at all because he didn't see toys . I would highly recommend it for babies , they can rest and sleep and eat in there which is very convenient. In room dining menu was kind of poor to me , I've never seen a kids menu that has no Fries or pizza or chicken nuggets on it , all they ate for 8 days was Spaghetti and burger! Couple of options only for breakfast for adults which was boring . My husband lost his reading glasses and it took us 3 days between the reception and the pool management to find where it was, they kept saying we sent it to the reception and the reception say we didn't get it , who sent it ? well its not my problem who did , You need to have better communication with each other. Anyway 3 days after one of the employers at the pool brought it to us ! its very normal to lose things in a resort yet their way of dealing with it wasn't enough. The O bag store is way overpriced .

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The food at the main restaurant is 1 star at most, the ala carte restaurants aren't much better. You will be using these buggie carts to get around, in which you will have to wait for like a bus. One of my worst vacation experiences ever, I give it 2 stars because the pool was ok and the views were not too bad...

Horrible service I had to wait 2 hours for a towel and ended up arriving to the dinner late so disappointed for I came to the same hotel four years ago but it was run by jumeira quality and service much better. Unlike this company they actually put clean toiletries and actually put a dental kit. To be honest I only rated it three stars for the building and the quality of the food.

Best hotel ever, by far the friendliest staff ever, the hotel theme is out of a fairytale, staff will do anything to make you happy, look out for Valeria as your private butler she's amazing, endless restaurant choices my favorite was the seafood and Turkish. Their hookah is to die for best ever look for Hassan try the gum mint ?... All in all I highly recommend it.

The rooms were big, the private swimming pool was perfect temperature and clean, the food as all good especially the Italian place. The activities around the sea was good especially the paragliding and jet skis. Perfect place for relaxing and adventuring!
