Bu adlardan zamanın Kayseri Valisinin, Belediye Başkanının, Kayseri Kadısının ve bir çok ileri gelen ailelerin burada oturdukları anlaşılmaktadır. Tavlusun daha önceleri Türklerin, Rumların ve Ermenilerin yaşadığı bir yer imiş. Camilerle kiliselerin yan yana yer aldığı, bu yöremiz, Talas ve Derevenk Vadisinin devamında, Germir ve Mimarsinan mahallesine komşudur.
