Really nice and powerful breakfast. The service is top.

Taş Firin is basically an excellent bakery (the best in Kalkan) and a cafe which serves breakfast. Their turkish breakfast is excellent, they also serve menemen, fried eggs with turkish sausage (my favourite) and excellent omelettes. This year they have branched out into pides, lahmacun and rolls. I visit here most days for fresh bread and can never resist the cakes and sweet pastries they have on offer.

Tasty simit and fine bread, but very crowded in the store so expect many people with no social distance and almost no one wearing mask.

I noticed that the rating I gave to this place a couple of years ago was a stellar 5 stars. Now I'm derating it to a three because the service is getting to be a little chaotic, the entrance to the place is dirty and littered with a bunch of cigarette butts, the organization in the main hall looks not very well organized with stacks of unused furniture sitting in one corner and creating an eyesore, and the bakers aprons look tired. I even saw one baker wiping the sweat off his forehead with his apron's tail. yuck... this is what we have the zabita for in these municipalities but I doubt they notice things like this... they are worried if you have your mask on when you enter and close the shop on time, etc.
