The paintings in the church have been destroyed and the church is very neglected, but you should definitely go down from the church and walk in the Gomeda valley. The lush valley is full of surprises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh man! We were on our way to Gomeda Valley, we stumbled upon this marvelous structure on the road. Ended up spending and hour here. This ancient church is carved inside the boulder. Has multiple floors and a complex cave network. The walls contain well preserved frescos and paintings. The ground floor has a deep tunnel going to a secret chamber. Definetely check it out!
