★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bir önceki belediye başkanı zamanında yaz aylarında daha çok ilaçlama yapılıyordu. şimdi evler sinekten böcekten geçilmiyor. Bu konu üzerinde daha çok durulmalı.

I have never seen such a slow-moving process in my life. We have been trying for 3 months to get a construction license, it's officially a disgrace, I wonder what shift do the people working in this municipality work for, I'm leaving at 9 am. At 9.30 the staff will finish their tea and cigarettes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Talas sadece ana caddelerden, talas halkı da sadece arabalardan oluşmuyor. Ara sokaklar hep kar, yollardan kenara itilmiş karlarla şıpır şıpır, kaya kaya yürümeye çalışıyoruz. Engelli biri sokak boyu markete bile zor gidecek.
Talas does not only consist of main streets, and the people of talas are not only composed of cars. The side streets are always snow-dried, with snow pushed aside from the roads, we try to walk rock by rock. A disabled person will hardly go to the grocery store across the street.
