★ ★ ★ ★ ★ KİLİS Valiliği olarak kullanılan bu binanın inşasına 1924 yılında Kilis Kaymakamı Talat Bey döneminde başlanmış ve 1925 yılında tamamlanmıştır. Binanın mimari projesinin Halepli Hacı Ahmet Bey tarafından çizildiği bilinmektedir.
Hükümet konağı, yapıldığı döneme özgün mimari karaktere sahip olup ulusal mimarlık izleri taşımaktadır. Yapı alanının ve cephesinin giriş aksı eksenin gösterdiği simetrik düzen, dönemi yansıtmaktadır.
Tarihi bina, 1925-1995 yılları arasında Hükümet Konağı olarak, 1995-2013 yılları arasında ise Adliye binası olarak hizmet vermiştir.
2012 yılları sonlarında başlayan rölöve, restitüsyon ve restorasyon projeleri 2013 yılında tamamlanmış ve hemen arkasından restorasyon uygulanmasına başlanmıştır.
Bina; özgün haline sadık kalınarak onarılmış ve 15 Mayıs 2015 tarihinde Kilis Valiliği olarak yeniden açılmıştır
The construction of this building, which was used as the KİLİS Governorship, started in 1924 during the reign of Kilis District Governor Talat Bey and was completed in 1925. It is known that the architectural project of the building was drawn by Hacı Ahmet Bey from Aleppo.
The government house has an architectural character unique to the period it was built and bears the traces of national architecture. The symmetrical layout of the building area and its facade, indicated by the entrance axis, reflects the period.
The historical building served as the Government House between 1925-1995 and as the Courthouse between 1995-2013.
The survey, restitution and restoration projects, which started at the end of 2012, were completed in 2013, and restoration began immediately after.
Building; It was repaired faithfully to its original state and reopened as Kilis Governorate on May 15, 2015.
