The mosque was built in 1813 by Governor Hacı Mehmet Pasha.

2019 un the last tarawih prayer was nasib. Spacious spacious room. It was nice.

In the mosque of my neighborhood, we used to pray with my father. I am going to commemorate those days.

In 1996, medium-sized and opened to worship a beautiful mosque located in the center of the city of Afyonkarahisar.

Sülüm Mosque: One of the central mosques of Afyonkarahisar... Yunus Emre District/ Nurcu District, Milli Birlik Street... Neighboring Mecidiye district... It has been repaired, maintained and added many times!.. It is an old-Historical Mosque...19. to Afyonkarahisar at the beginning of the century It was built by "Governor Haci Mehmet Pasha", who was appointed as the governor for the third time, and was opened to worship in 1813... And... ...Later, the Old - Historical Mosque was demolished!... Today's "Reinforced Concrete Mosque" was built in its place!... "New Sülüm Mosque": It was built in 1995-1996... With a Single Main Dome, Two minarets!..One of the minarets was added later!...if you look carefully, you will notice!?...One of the mosques with a single main dome... There are half domes in the corners... In addition, there are three smaller domes at the back... A high-rise, airy, peaceful mosque... It has the characteristics of Ottoman architecture... The pedestal and lectern of the old minaret are made of cut stone, the body part and the balcony are made of bricks... It's still standing!.. The new minaret, on the other hand, was built of reinforced concrete... The location, architecture and view of the Mosque are very beautiful!... Overlooking Afyonkarahisar Castle... May God be pleased with those who have it done, those who do it, and those who have contributed to reach these days!... Forgive me , and my parents , and all the Believers, and accept my invocation." Allah is the Only One God. None has the right to be worshiped but Allah. There's none co-equal or comparable unto Allah. Allah has no partner in worship. Allah has no partner in His Kingdom. There's nothing like unto Allah, and Allah is the Hearing , the Seeing. Allah is Able to do all things. Glorified is Allah!.. Praise be to Allah!.. Allah is the Most Great!.. There's no God but Allah! Peace and Mercy of Allah be on you!..

It is a beautiful mosque on Mecidiye Street in Mecidiye neighborhood. After the renovation, this mosque has gained a modern appearance. A new minaret has been built only next to the old minaret of the mosque, NOT DESTROYED. It is very airy inside. Its high dome and large windows illuminate it.
