Dinar is ancient Apamea, one of the most important ancient cities in Turkey. Unfortunately there is no archaeology museum in town; however, this is the next best thing. Signs are posted around the waterfalls (only a couple in English) telling about the city's history. There is an ethnographic museum here with one display being a large Jewish seder tray that is metal and handicrafted. Our group had the trout and kavurma as well as the fried ice cream, all tasty and inexpensive. Very family friendly as well with play areas and refreshing around the water.
