I made census records of the Ottoman and the first period of the Republic. It took a little long. They said it was due to the scarcity of sufficient civil servants. I congratulate all the few really self-sacrificing officials. It is one of our rare institutions where important records of the state are preserved and given to those who wish, without any charge.

I went to the General Directorate of State Archives of the Republic of Turkey on 16.08.2018. Before the new sign of the institution is installed, the old sign is stuck, and they will go for the first time soon, do not look for the old sign. Other than that, the staff is very level 'and helpful.
