Great church laybirinth, with nice acustic, little bit high and narrow floors. Entry free and some of the most interesting churches I saw

I’m not quite sure if this view is worth the effort upwards. There’s also a short section unstable wooden plank kind of bridge to cross in order to make it to the church. I warned a group of elderly ladies to be careful ahead - most of them decided to give up after asseing the plan and u-turned instead.

Beautiful church, where you still can see some paintings! Before should be really beautiful! The climb to there is nice! And if you really clim to the top, you can see the rose valley, fairy chimneys on the other side and the villa. Beautiful view! And church I really impressive!

Totally not worth it! If you're looking for the church, it's very badly taken care of (check pictures): to get there you have to explore your self the way (no signs), when you're on your way there you find a lot of caves full of garbage, ciment bags and empty beer bottles, and when you get there the historic site was all destroyed and tagged! Better go to göreme Open Air museum!

Çavusīn - incredible! I’m scared of heights and don’t love small spaces and still loved it. If you’re adventurous then prepare to have your soul moved as you enter this troglodyte world.

Looming over the village of 600 plus people and 14 cave hotels is the church cut from the rock. Follow the signs and just keep walking past the wooden planks. The church is just beyond. I was taken by a local and so was able to see all the rooms and views. It is worth a look around, but please be careful and wear practical shoes.

As a church, very disappointing, even depressing to see such a historical, once-beautiful place been vandalized and filthy. It’s sad to see such irreplaceable things disappearing. Also around on the top are old shops and crumbling buildings. Someone tried to open restaurants/ cafes but these were closed. However, as a viewpoint over the valleys and the city below its worth the hike up. Take care as some places have steep drops and no safety barriers.

Really cool area. You can walk freely and visit old cave houses, completely open to the people. Under the sun it’s a harsh walk, but it’s worth the effort! One should not miss it, specially the views of the valley you can have uphill.
