★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good hotel, with google translator was possible to communicate basic things to the staff, they were collaborative and friendly. Restaurant food was fine with limitations in their offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having just spent 100 days in this hotel during the Covid-19 lockdown, I think I can claim some knowledge of it. At times I was the only guest and any all times apparently the only foreigner.
I am so grateful to the staff who looked after me so kindly and made me feel so welcome and safe. Of course they also fed me a fine Turkish breakfast every morning!
The location is very convenient for Bodrun-Milas airport which is 15 minutes by car (or an hour by bicycle if you are game). The charming and non-touristy centre of town is a flat 4km walk. The bus station is a little further. There are several good supermarkets within 500m (I frequented Carrefour), and innumerable pharmacies about 2km away near a hospital. There is an excellent dentist (may he be blessed) about 1km away.
It wasn’t really the optimal moment for an extensive exploration of the town, but amongst other things there is a fine Roman Arch (dating from the 2nd century I believe). To the south are the extensive ruins of a 14-15th century city up on the hill.
My single room faced east and had a wide view of the hills. In late March and April there were some enjoyable storms to watch, and the occasional rainbow. More recently it has been relentlessly hot (max 38-42º) and sunny all day every day. Until midday there was full sun on the room so I used the curtains, but after that it was on the shady side of the building which was welcome. There is a small balcony from which to admire the view and ponder the world outside.
The room had discrete but very effective air-conditioning, a small bathroom and a small but extremely useful fridge. I did not use the TV.
Given the circumstances I only used the restaurant downstairs for breakfast. For much of the time it was peaceful, but with things returning somewhat to normal during June there was quite a bit of traffic noise. This was strangely reassuring although normally I would be less keen. There is a Dolmuş stop outside the door.
I very much hope to be able to return to complete the Carian Trail and will certainly make the Siler Otel my first port of call. I think they already know which room to put me in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been two nights at Siler Otel. The staff was really friendly and helpfull. They even stored our bycicles in a room near the reception. Our room was really nice, clean, quiet and comfi. We especially liked the bathroom with all the marbel. The breakfast was good even though it was no buffet.
We felt really welcome at this place and would stay there again.
Sorry for taking the room card with us!
