The name KatpaTuka in Persian language has come to this day as Cappadocia. According to the legend, giants lived here long ago. These giants always treated people badly when they got angry. They sent fire from the top of the mountains where people lived. Later, Periler Sultan becomes aware of this situation and takes all the fairies and comes to this area. The fairies extinguish the giants' fires and smuggle them underground. Humans and fairies started to live in friendship for many years because they kidnapped giants. People started to live in the houses carved into the rocks and fairies in the small rooms on the hill. If you think the legend ends here, you are wrong. Later on, Gülperi, daughter of the Fairy Sultan, and Revan, the son of the sultan of people, fall in love with each other. However, people did not find this marriage appropriate and decided to wage war on the fairies. Thereupon, the Fairy Sultan decided to leave because he did not want to fight people. But he thought that if the giants heard that they left here, it would disturb people again. Then he had an idea. He wanted all the fairies to become doves and continue to protect people. Gülperi became a beautiful white pigeon and always went to Revan's window and watched him.
