This is more about beautiful nature, rather than spectacular ruins. In fact you can see all remarkable remains at photos here at Google Maps, while all the rest are just heaps of stones. However I loved proximity to Side and free entry. Go at the second half of the day to avoid heat.

Amazing how after all these years there are still coloumns and main walls standing. Would have been just that bit better if they had an information point.

This ancient city makes me remember the Termessos of Antalya which is close to Olympous mountains. It has typically Roman Arthitecture with still surrounding ruins. The city Agora is still appropriate as it was. If you want to feel discover this ruins and the way of Roman people live into forest you should take a visit...

The lost city of Seleukeya (Lybre). As per the guide board at the entrance, Lybre was a Greek city build around 3rd century BC in Hellenistic period, which was part from on old harbor connected to west coast of Side, Turkey. The area is well preserved, building, walls, agoras, temples, cemetery, etc etc. The little "downside", it was, that reaching to the location was pretty difficult (since the road - was really dangerous to be driven for the last 400 meters). If you will travel with your own car, just be really careful for the last part of the road (since the width of the road is very narrow). But, once you'll get there - you'll be impressed !

These ruins are gorgeous! Amidst the pine forest with crazy cycadas, the city is very old and authentic. Everything is open to explore. Free of charge. Place with its atmosphere.
