About Şekerci Mehmet Gürbüz - 1964
Şekerci Mehmet GÜRBÜZ, 1941 yılında Sinop’un Boyabat ilçesinde doğdu. İlkokul öğreniminin ardından, henüz 11 yaşında iken vitrininden gözünü ayıramadığı bir şekerleme dükkanına çırak olarak başladı. 8 yıl usta yanında çıraklık ve kalfalık yaptı. Askerlik görevinden sonra ustasının rızasını alarak 1964 yılında kendi dükkanını açtı.
Akide şekerlerinden helvalara, lokumlardan çeşit çeşit ezmelere varan geniş ürün yelpazesine sahip oldu. Mesleki birikiminin muhteşem bir dışavurumu olan Boyabat Ezmesi de tüm Türkiye’de aranan bir lezzet
olarak bu hikayenin önemli bir parçası haline geldi. Şekerci Mehmet GÜRBÜZ’ün meslek tutkusu isminin var olduğu her dükkanda sonsuza kadar devam edecek

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sinop'a gidince balığın üstüne ne tatlı yiyelim diye düşünüyorsanız mutlaka uğranması gereken bir lezzet ezmeleri. İlk gün sadece fındık ezmeli çeşit vardı. İkinci gün fuar için hazırlık yaptıkları için badem ve Antep fıstığı ezmeli de hazırladıkları için hepsini tatma şansımız oldu. Ürünleri günlük yapıyorlarmış. Yazın üç çeşitte oluyormuş ama kışın sadece fındık ezmesi. Alt ve üstüne kullandıkları ceviz de çok taze ve lezzetli.
 When you go to Sinop, if you think what dessert to eat on the fish, they are a must-see flavor paste. On the first day, there was only a hazelnut paste variety. On the second day, we had the chance to taste all of them as they were preparing for the fair and prepared with almond and pistachio paste. They made the products daily. There are three types in the summer, but only nut butter in the winter. The walnuts they use on top and bottom are also very fresh and delicious.

Boyabat butter is among the firsts of our local delicacies for me. This year we discovered this place in the center of Sinop last year, we said let's take this place and we took Boyabattan.
We met with our beloved Mehmet Gürbüz as well as with the flavor balls :))

I tasted chocolate and walnut pastes at the branch in Sinop and shopped. Chocolates were amazing, you should definitely taste it.
