Martyr Şerife Bacı represents the heroic Turkish woman carrying ammunition from İnebolu to Kastamonu in the War of Drying. In December 1921, when the harsh winter conditions prevailed, Şerife Bacı came to the barracks with his child on his back and his ox in front of him, and was martyred by freezing to protect his bullets and his child.
