In 1984-1985, with the support and initiative of the Director of National Education Erhan ŞAHİN, the support of the governor of that day, Adnan DARENDERELİLER, was obtained by providing 10 million lira from teachers and 50 million lira from private administration. It was actually opened to Education in 1986. With the compulsory education reaching 8 years in 1997, our school became a primary school and became the "Teachers Primary School". Within the scope of the 12-year compulsory education (4 + 4 + 4), which was put into practice in 2012, our school was transformed into elementary school and named as "Teachers Primary School". In 2014, an additional building with 18 classrooms was built by Melek İpek in the garden of the school within the scope of the "One Hundred Percent Education Support Project". The school was named after Melek İpek because of the fact that there were two schools of the same name, the name of the school was changed to "Namık Kemal Mahallesi Melek İpek Primary School" with the decision of the Governor of Kahramanmaraş. Following the July 15 coup attempt, with the decision of the Governor of Kahramanmaraş in 2017, the name of the school changed to “Martyr Teachers Primary School”.
