★ ★ ★ ★ ★ İlçenin en eski okulu olan bu okulun binası 1944 yılında 27 köyün katkıları ile imece usulü yapılmıştır. 1997 yılından itibaren Namık Kemal İlköğretim Okulu adıyla faaliyet gösteren okula 2016 yılında yaşanan darbe girişiminde hayatını kaybeden Polis Memuru Niyazi Ergüven'in adı verilmiştir.
Şu an 12 dersliği bulunan bu okulda ilkokul 1. Sınıftan ortaokulda 8. Sınıfa kadar öğrenciler eğitim öğretim görmektedir.
 The building of this school, which is the oldest school in the district, was built in 1944 with the contributions of 27 villages. The school, which has been operating under the name of Namık Kemal Primary School since 1997, was named after Police Officer Niyazi Ergüven, who died in the coup attempt in 2016.
In this school, which currently has 12 classrooms, students from the 1st grade of primary school to the 8th grade of secondary school receive education.
