Saydam Otel

We turned up in the evening without a reservation and were warmly greeted by the owner who helped us find a room for our budget. The room was perfect for what we needed and basic Turkish breakfast was included. We wanted to try Adana kebab so asked for his recommendation, and he actually took us to an amazing place nearby and helped us order/told the staff there to look after us. Location is good, 10 min walk from where the dolmus drops off, 10 min to the stone bridge then a further 5 min to the mosque. Would recommend!

Great communication with Metin, he was always there for me and gave me good advices about the city, where to eat for example. He is a very kind and funny person. The room was very quiet, which I liked. I would go there again with great pleasure!

I am a budget Traveler, I chose Saydam Otel for the unbeatable price and the excellent reviews. I stayed there three nights. I hastly say that the reviews are deserved. I have travelled to Turkey tens of times. The cleanliness I found here is well above what you would expect from a two star hotel (in many countries of the middle East, cleanliness rhymes with hotel classification). The staff are VERY helpful. They will go much more than required to see you served and satisfied. Language was not an insurmountable barrier: we used Google Translate to communicate. The attitude of the receptionists was commendable: they won't show tiredness or distress, no matter how long it takes to answer your queries. They also provided a secure parking for my rental car, for free. The location of the hotel is a prime location: it's in the bustling center of Adana, within walking distance of everything. I rarely used public transport (bus stops are 200m away). The rooms are comfy, albeit basic, but it fit my needs. There's no elevator, but this was no concern too: I got a helping hand with my luggage. One more thing: at some time, I left my door unlocked, I was worried about the money I left in my room. I came back hours later to discover that I haven't lost anything. Metin (receptionist) told me: "you don't worry about theft here, we're a family run hotel, it's very safe". Nice hotel, kind staff. Breakfast included. Good internet connection. Second time I'm in Adana city.

Really they were asking 300tl ?this hotel they give different price depending of the clientele it’s should cost 100 TL even it’s too much. The hotel room are small and not comfortable at all ? OMG the pillows hard like stones the room even with the IC heater was the coldest night I had in Turkey, the bathroom it’s old style the windows of the room air goes in, and the breakfast OMG 3 pieces of tomato 4 slice of cucumber 4 olives one eyes 1 slice of cheese and I discovered I gift hair in my plate anyway don’t book here too expensive for what u get

Saydam Hotel is located on city centre, you can stay there in safe. All hotel staff, especially Mr. Metin and Mr. Şener, hosted me as a one of their relatives. Many thanks to them for their friendliness and hospitality. I advice you all when your path come across to Adana which is on foot from anywhere in the city :)

Wonderful welcome from Metin and his colleagues. Incredibly friendly and kind. Staying at Saydam Hotel made my time in Adana so much more enjoyable. Thank you Metin and hope to see you again soon - I know where to go if I head to Adana again!

Solo female traveller, stayed here for two weeks. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and willing to help with any requests. They took really good care of me making sure I felt comfortable and safe. Ibrahim provided lovely fresh breakfast every morning and even got me some local treats to try. Will definitely be coming back here ?
