Sarıkız Mosque: It was built on a large plot of land surrounded by Zincirli Kuyu Street, Oruç Reis Street and Piri Reis Street in Kayadibi District. It takes its name from the Sarı Kız Hill in the east and the person named "Sarıkız" who gave the hill its name... Sarıkız is considered a Maiden Evliya who took shelter in Chios Hill... There is a cave in the middle of the Hill... Mosque: With two main domes, a single minaret, two balconies... The minaret was built of cut stone... A beautiful mosque of sufficient size... Two floors high, airy, peaceful... Calligraphy, Tile and Nakkaş workmanship are admirable ...It has a large garden with a fountain and trees... There are student dormitories around the mosque... The mosque was built when I was a kid... and it was completed in 1965 and opened for worship.... Sarıkız Caddesi...Mecidiye, Misri, Karamanoglu, Hanönü, where we spent our childhood They used to eat... We all scattered somewhere!... Almost every day to Sarıkız Mountain We went out as a group... Allah has the Most Beautiful Names. Allah is the Creator , the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms ,the Sustainer , the Giver of Security. Allah is the First and nothing is before Him. Allah is the Last and nothing is after Him. Allah is the Most Near and nothing is nearer than Him. Allah is the Most High and the Most Great. Allah is the Knower of the hidden and the manifest. Allah is Able to do all things. There's no deity except Allah and that Muhammad is the Slave of Allah and the Messenger of Allah. Glory be to Allah!... Praise be to Allah!. Allah is the Most Great!... There's no God but Allah!... May Allah accept your Worship!... May Allah accept your invocations!.. May Allah forgive you!... May Allah forgive us!...
