★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pancarlık kilisesine giderken solda tabelasını görüp durduğum yer. Manzarası gerçekten harika. Buraya yerel halktan birisi sahip çıkıyor. Ben gittiğimde kapısı kilitliydi. Pancarlık kilisesinin oradaki amcaya sorduğumda, sahibinin kilitleyip gittiğini artık gelmediğini iletti. Devlet nasıl olurda böyle yerlere sahip çıkmaz, nasıl yerel insanlar buralara sahip çıkıyor ve sahip çıktığı halde kapatıp gidiyor, bu da bizim tarihe bakışımız diyebilirim. Giremediğim için aşırı üzüldüm çünkü içeride güzel freskler var. Manzarası için durup fotoğraf çekip devam edebilirsiniz.
 On the way to Pancarlik church, I saw the sign on the left and stopped. The view is really great. One of the locals owns this place. The door was locked when I went. When I asked the uncle in the Pancarlik church, he said that the owner had locked it and left and he did not come anymore. How can the state not own such places, how can local people take care of these places and close them even though they do, I can say this is our view of history. I was very sorry that I could not enter because there are beautiful frescoes inside. You can stop and take pictures for the view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a rock-cut church. It has been restored few years ago. However they are keeping this church locked since preserve it from vandalism.
Nevertheless it might be a nice offroad trip for adventure seekers.
It has some early Christian icons inside when we compare them other churches in Cappadocia not so fancy.
Near that area there are more churches and attractions to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main church was closed when I was there, but there are still some interesting caves/churches in the valley below. This is off the beaten path, so if you want to avoid the crowds, this is a good choice. It's located on a dirt road, but still accessible to most cars. Good photo-ops here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been there twice and it was closed both of the times. However the real gem lies on the prairie in front if the church. There are 2 other rock churches in the prairie and one can easily access these by clear paths. Check these out. They are really marvelous and for sure your mind will be blown by the beauty of them.
