Cumhuriyet döneminde demiryollarına gösterilen yüksek önem, kurumun çalışanlarınada yansımaktaydı; bu büyük ve önemli kurumun personeline lojmanlar tahsis ediliyordu.
Kent Müzesi binalarını oluşturan iki ana ahşap yapı, bu doğrultuda 1928 yılında Samsun-Sivas Demiryolu İnşaat ve İşletme İdaresi ve Devlet Demiryolu Lojmanı olarak inşa edildi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really fascinating! First of all, it was so cheap, only 2 Liras. The staff was so helpful. It has a small shop where u can buy small gifts. Also a small cafe, cheap and fresh tea. Adviced.

Bring some id so you get access to an english audioguide.
