SAMIR CAFE - Gölbaşı

It is a wonderful place in the lake built on the Mogan lake. Especially the pancakes and samovar tea were great. We sat on the balcony and the ducks and seagulls are constantly making a wonderful sight around you. It just seemed a little expensive to me. I guess it must be because of the location of the place. I can recommend, but the price issue depends on your preference. Flatbread was between 21 liras and 29 liras, and a hamburger was 32 liras. Such a good trip from me.

One of the classic cafes located by the lake in Morgan Park. Almost all of them are decorated in almost the same style. A little further in the background are their kitchens and toilets. The toilet here is closed to the public, you can enter with the password from the cafe. On the toilet, I thought I was in a nightclub. Go see the lighting, decoration and you'll understand what I'm talking about. The faucets have photocells, but someone does not work, the soap dispenser is broken, there are no napkins everywhere, no towel for drying hands. Some business needs to control this place from time to time. The menu is quite diverse. Toast, pancakes, meat dishes, salads etc. most things available. The presentation of the food is also quite good. Personally, I found the prices on the menu to be ridiculous for a place with such a concept and service. Brewed tea is 6.5 TL, which is more expensive than Mado. Pancakes are between 25-30 TL, toasts are between 23-30 TL, salads are close to 30 TL, grilled meatballs are 48 TL. Just a few days ago, we ate doner kebab in Düveroğlu, and the appetizers were 38 liras. Whatever you can eat in a high-class place in the city is the same price here. If you want a tea samovar comes. Demi and her warmth are fine, they have a nice samovar. The water does not get cold and you drink the tea to the fullest. The teacups are tiny though. In other words, if you are selling at those prices, it would not be bad if you put a larger and more aesthetic glass instead of an egg-sized tea cup. The employees are very well-intentioned, sincere, but you are shouting something, no one cares before you call, maybe it's because of the density. This cafe also has an open-top place, which also beautifies the ambiance in the 3-sided open-top system overlooking the water. It's a clean place. There is neither fire control nor mask requirement nor HES code control anywhere at the entrance. I couldn't understand what privileges they have from the cafes in the city. It's a place where you can go on the weekend and take a breather and have a snack. The indoor acoustics are so bad that only one shouting and crying child will disturb your calm and peace. We paid 90 TL for 2 people, a samovar Tea, 1 mixed and 1 eggplant pancake. 07/November/2021
