Praying is Allah's command. Prayer is salvation. THE IMPORTANCE AND VIRTUALITY OF PRAYER Prayer is a state of turning to Allah and devoting one's heart to Him. Prayer is the most valuable of the deeds that bring the servant closer to Allah. Ruku and prostration are also expressions of honor. Each of these reinforces the other. As it is known, tawhid (accepting Allah as one), knowing and confirming His unique existence is the biggest duty that is fard. After that, the biggest and most important of the obligatory prayers is the prayer, which is the second of the five pillars of Islam. Prayer is the sign of faith, the light of the heart, the strength of the soul, and the believer's ascension. Thanks to this prayer, the believer rises to the spiritual presence of Allah, and reaches spiritual intimacy by begging Allah. Prayer is the only form of worship that includes all kinds of worship such as dhikr, prayer, gratitude, contemplation, humility, and respect. The best form of loving, knowing, praising and respecting Allah is to pray. All true religions have ordered people to pray. Our Prophet (pbuh) has also been obliged to perform prayers since he was sent as a prophet. On the night of Mi'raj, five daily prayers were made obligatory.
