Beautiful beach front hotel with clear water. There are different types of buildings/ rooms so I am not sure about others but where we stayed need upgrade. Other that room was clean and our towels were replaced everyday. Food was tasty and there are many options to pick. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were there in August and hotel was very crowded. There are definitely some annoying type of people around. I would definitely avoid during the busy months July and August next time.

Good parts: staff in bars and SPA and terrace restaurant were really friendly and caring. Beautiful area, good food, Massages were good. The trip to the islands were good only if you had goggles to snorkel( you need to ask for it) Down parts: some staff not so friendly( reception), beds not so comfortable, not enough animations. The food which has been served in the boat to the 4 islands was not really good.

Beautiful scenery in a private beach cove. Beautiful landscaping with lush tropical foliage and majestic palms. Very large swimming pool with plenty of chaise lounge chairs. Live DJ playing great music poolside during the day. Rooms are simple and functional with basic necessities. Shower/tub combo a little bit difficult to climb into because it's very far off the floor. The pillows are not very comfortable as they are quite lumpy. The air conditioner in the room works great. The food in the various restaurants is basic cafeteria style buffet served by the staff for health reasons. The food quality is not very good. The exception is the wonderful fresh fruit! The restaurant staff and the housekeeping staff as well as the pool staff are excellent and very friendly, helpful and courteous. Unfortunately the front desk staff is rude and makes the guest feel unwelcome and unappreciated. The taxi service is horrible as everyone needing a taxi to go somewhere had to wait between 60 - 90 minutes for a taxi to arrive.

The hotel is super nice! Not too big, everything is near and you dont have to walk much. The rooms (in the Main building) are very cool too. The bungalows: Meh..... Good food, really nice and helpful Staff, Pool AND beach right next to each other. We would definitely recomend this hotel!!!

Nice seaside resort with very enthusiastic staff. They often go the extra mile for your comfort. Is also pretty child-friendly, too. The beach is of small pebbles. Bay faces north, therefore is windier, which I prefer.

We , as a family of 13 ( 6 adults and 7 children) have just returned from hotel samara. We looked at reviews before booking and some were abit off and I really cannot understand why. We have had the best 10 days!we were originally booked for 7 days but had our return flight cancelled and the hotel were more than accommodating for our extra 3 days. The hotel staff are absolutely brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel has a guest relations lady Caterina, who was a wonderful help and assisted us with taxis, transfers and organising of trips. Such a lovely lady. Our children spent the whole holiday in and out of kids club with Rasmine. Rasmine was so so lovely and welcoming and the kids were all very upset to say good bye to her when we left! She really made their holiday special. All day and nights we were kept entertained by the animation team, Ercan, Sergio, Rasmine, Sofia and DJ Jonathon. They worked so so hard to keep us all happy, laughing and having fun. They were all brilliant with the kids, and we had so many laughs with them. On our last night our whole family sat together at the restaurant and we were joined for dinner by Sergio and Ercan and we all chatted and had a really lovely evening. We will certainly miss the whole team! All of the waiting staff are second to none! They are absolutely incredible running around after the guests, and a big mention to 'geezer',(Oguz I think his name was) one of the bar staff, he served us the whole 10 days, played games with the children, had banter with us. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. Great food, strong drinks, amazing staff and beautiful grounds. Thank you Hotel Samara! From Miss Samara (April 2022) x

We took a mid-April break flying from Luton to Bodrum. This hotel is around 20 minutes' drive from the airport and relatively easy to find. Samara apparently means "protected by God" and hence the angel wing statue outside the entrance. We are currently 6 nights into a 7 night stay at this hotel, and it has been a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. Reception- we arrived as the hotel staff were very busy, the Tour of Turkey bike race was starting from Bodrum this week and most of the teams and tour organisers were staying in this hotel beforehand. I can understand why. Anyway, the reception staff made sure we felt truly welcome and guided us to a seat and drinks whilst Catarina (sp?) from Guest Relations was called. I was suspicious that this would mean someone trying to sell us tour packages or sign us up to other rubbish services, but that was not at all the case. Catarina sat with us, checked our needs and made sure we had a suitable room, gave us the basics of where to find things and then had a valet escort us to our room. The room is spacious - bedroom, lounge, terrace etc, with plenty of storage and TVs in both main areas. Stocked mini-bar is refilled every day and included in the price. No problems with the accommodation. When we went to the first bar (the pool bar, not the beach bar) the staff were just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff are constantly pushing themselvs to bring drinks or make food or clean tables etc. All of this with such smiles and friendliness that we felt genuinely welcomed and as if staff were glad to have us there. So different from some hotels we have been to. Special mention has to go to Dokugan for his non-stop energy and care, that's a man who covers his 10,000 steps in his first couple of hours at work! That was all before we got to dinner. The dining room staff are even more exceptional - from the supervisor right to the newest table cleaning staff we felt really well taken care of. Drinks brought to the table, and staff quickly remembering what drinks we liked. Tables cleaned quickly and quietly, everyone smiling - and special thanks to Esle and Ersen (again, my spelling may be awful, sorry) who made us feel so very much at home. Exceptional. One thing that I liked was that the hotel has a sensible dress policy for eating. At one meal, three guests turned up in swimwear - and were politely but firmly refused entry. I think that is a sign of a good and well run hotel that makes rules and sticks to them. Fantastic. Then there's the food itself. Wow. Just wow. Fresh fish (grilled whole fish such as bream or bass plus mackerel fillets and whole salmon) and amazing chicken stews, sautee vegetables, fillets of beef, lobster - the choice is endless. Then there's the salad range - it's so varied there is something for absolutely everyone. We have had a couple of meals just from the salad choices - even though I hate salad because I normally think it's boring. Not at the Samara. If you're a "we only eat boring british food" type person then you're missing out on the wonderful range on offer here. We have tried dozens of new dishes - and desserts - and enjoyed them very much. At lunchtime, the pool bar chef loves cooking something fresh for us, he insists even though we would be quite happy with the burgers and chips offer already on show. At breakfast, the fresh omelette is a must-have - and the chef who makes them is truly skilled at it. I also had a massage whilst here, and my wife had her hair done - the only things we paid extra for. The massage was genuine - the lady doing it is clearly well trained and did a proper job rather than one of those "pretend you know what you're doing" jobs you get in some places. It was worth the money in my opinion, and I don't normally spend money on such things. My wife was very happy with her hair colouring too. It's hard to find anything wrong or anything to criticise at this hotel. We will definitely be back
