Later slower, warmer water, with rocks is easier. With 4-year old child this tour is feasible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saklikent canyon is a must see place in Turkey! Very impressive, to say the least. We had an 8 year old boy with us and he did great hiking to the end of the “so-called” 3rd section with a small waterfall in the end. So don’t be scared by people saying it’s not for kids, maybe not for all kinds of kids, but definitely for the adventurous ones! :) Memories for a lifetime! Make sure to take a backpack with you and water shoes. I had my phone with me all the time and it didn’t get wet, you just have to be careful.

The national park is a canyon, and is located in Muğla Province, at Seydikemer, 50 km (31 mi) far from Fethiye. Thé Canyon is 65 km from Kaş in the Antalya province.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a must see! For a small price you can enter this 2km long canyon and, with you feet in the water, walk between the towering walls. In the summer, expect large crowds, as is a great way to cool down and do some walking. There's also pools of mud inside, where you can get your hands dirty :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a cool a little bit dangerous place. You can take a free hard hat, buy special hard-soled shoes for walking in water (it costs 30 TRY there). The length of this canyon is about 18 km. Avoid taking children. If you are a physically fit person you can go by this canyon alone (better if you take a friend with you), else take a guide here (30-60$) for 2 people...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can spend as little or as much time hiking in as you want. We were there for roughly 2 hours.
The bathrooms and changing rooms are outside.Once you pay you can't go in and out.
The beginning part is the hardest due to the very cold water and the strong water flow. They provide a rope to hold onto. It's doable.
We did much of it in flip flops. Definitely not that treacherous but it would help to have more sturdy shoes if your not a flip flop hiker already.
Plenty of places to eat. Parking was 15TL. Fee to go in was 10TL/per person(see picture) and cash only. Muse kart does not apply here.
