Demir süregiden içilen tertemiz soğuk su ve bir gün önceden kalmış esmer ekmek kesinlikle denenmeli. Öğlen saatinde dolu ölür saklıca bütün artvin kusursuz pilavı, tas kebap,patlıcan musakka,haşlama,( dönemine göre oğlak da olur) ,kavurma,cacık, kabak tatlısı kesinlikle önerilir. Eğer kapıda döner vurmuşlarsa saklicadan başka bir yer aramayın derim Artvinde. Saymakla olmaz mutlaka ziyaret edip herhangi bir lezzeti tatmalisiniz

Özellikle pilavı çok meşhurdur. Bunun yanında tas kebabini da mutlaka tadın. Tek olumsuz yönü park yeri yok.
