★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das historische Bad Saka Hamamı ist ein Gebäude aus dem 16. bis 17. Jahrhundert. Das Bad ist durch eine Rundbogentür mit einer 5-stufigen Leiter zugänglich. Es wird durch einen gewölbten Korridor zum Umkleidebereich geführt.
Dieser Abschnitt hat vier Bögen und Pendentifs, und die Teile in Ost-West-Richtung sind kreuzgewölbt. In der Mitte befindet sich ein Pool. Der Boden ist aus geschnittenem Stein und Marmor. Die Wände bestehen aus geschnittenen Steinen.
Da es sich um ein Damenbad handelt, durfte ich nicht mit die Besichtigung durchführen. Zum Glück waren genug Frauen anwesend, um einige Fotos von innen zu erhalten und einen mündliche Einschätzung zu bekommen.
Auch wenn es ein historisches Bad ist - ein wenig Pflege wäre wohl angemessen gewesen
Wir besichtigten das Bad am 29.08.2021 und haben sie im "Reisebericht Rundreise Altstadt Antakya Teil 90" beschrieben, mit Fotos hinterlegt und als empfehlenswert beschrieben.
Historical Saka Hamamı Bath is a building from the 16th to 17th centuries. The bathroom is accessed through an arched door with a 5-step ladder. It is led through an arched corridor to the changing area.
This section has four arches and pendentives, and the east-west parts are cross-vaulted. There is a pool in the middle. The floor is cut stone and marble. The walls are made of cut stones.
Since it is a women's pool, I was not allowed to take part in the tour. Luckily enough women were present to get some photos of the inside and an oral assessment.
Even if it is a historic bath - a little care would have been appropriate
We visited the pool on August 29th, 2021 and described it in the "Travel Report Round Trip Old Town Antakya Part 90", with photos and described it as recommendable.
