 It became an exhibition hall. It is a relatively small structure. It was closed when we went to Eid al-Adha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hükümet Konağı’nın bahçesinde yer alan yapı; 1906 yılında inşa edilen bir cezaevi binası. Zamanında azılı suçluları ağırlayan bu yerde şimdi oturup yerel Bağlar Gazozu’ndan içebileceğiniz bir kafe var.
Cezaevi içerisinde küçük bir müze de mevcut. Safranbolu’nun farklı bir yüzünü görmek isterseniz, Tarihi Cezaevi kesinlikle doğru bir adres.
Located in the garden of the Government House; A prison building built in 1906. There is a café where you can sit and drink from the local vineyard soda.
There is also a small museum inside the prison. If you want to see a different side of Safranbolu, Historical Prison is definitely the right address.

The restoration of the old prison building was built by the Safranbolukaymakamligi. It is located at the back of the city historical museum. It is next to the clock tower.

The museum was built. It used to be a café. I went to the cafe where I saw it as the museum was not updated. Side by side with the government building. Historic Clock Tower

Bu müzenin arka tarafında kalan hemen Saat Kulesi ve Saat Kulesinin yanında bulunan tarihi eski cezaevini mutlaka görmeniz gerekir diye düşünüyorum. Hakkında ne yazık ki bilgi bulamadım ama muhteşem mimarisi ile sizlerin ilgisini çekeceğine eminim. Tam kapısının üzerinde bulunan kitabe orijinal bir kitabeye benziyor.Arapça bilgisi olanlar için okunmaya değer bir yazıt sayılabilir. Safranbolu'ya geldiğinizde mutlaka uğrak noktalarından olmalı.
When you come to Safranbolu, you can't help but stop by the City History Museum. I think you should definitely see the Clock Tower and the historical old prison next to the Clock Tower, which is at the back of this museum. Unfortunately, I could not find any information about it, but I am sure that it will attract your attention with its magnificent architecture. The inscription right above the door looks like an original inscription. It can be considered an inscription worth reading for those who have knowledge of Arabic. When you come to Safranbolu, it should definitely be a stopover point.
