★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh my god, I cannot emphasise how good is the cağ kebab, probably the best you can find in Ankara. Simple yet delicious and worth every penny imo. I'm living in another country now and I'm still craving their kebab quite frequently and drag my friends to go there with me as soon as I'm in Ankara. If there are better, I don't know them yet. Till then this place will be my go to. It's great to have a stroll around the castle and see the nearby museums as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best kebab I had over my ten days in Turkey across a few cities including Istanbul. The place is very local. Although people there did not speak English it was easy to establish mutual understanding. We were immediately served some snacks, and then asked “kebab?”, to which we nodded, and in 5 minutes the kebabs arrived accompanied by some sides. Absolutely delicious. You can see how the meat is cooked at the ground floor.
On top of excellent kebabs, great fast service and nice welcoming hosts. Would love to be back.
