Abdülhamit döneminde 1906 ylında Sivas valisi Reşat Akif Paşa tarafından yaptırılmıştır. 1943 depreminde büyük hasar görmesine rağmen 1959 yılında yeninde restore edilerek hizmete sunulmuştur.
