Good sea and mountains views ?.
Nice restaurant inside the castle.
Free entry.
No wheelchair entrance you have to climb many stair steps.
In general Nice to have dinner with your family or friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This historic aspect is relatively disappointing... The only information available is a few plaques. That being said, there are fantastic views of the city and lovely cafes and a playground. Definitely worth stopping by!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little castle in 7 mins drive from the city centre. The place has a mosque and several viewpoints. There's a cafe on top with delicious Sutlaç, the local rice-and-milk dessert. Worth a visit if you have a spare hour in Rize.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good stop on the way to Rize-Artvin. Nice place, but smaller than the expectation. On the top, there are many great views. Each corner has a unique view: tea mountains, Black Sea, and different city views. There are many options for a quick drink or small bites. I won’t spend more than 15-30 minutes here. There are many things to be discovered in the area. The castle wasn’t in our plan, it popped up on the map and we stopped to see it. Unfortunately, we missed one of the amazing points on our plan because of this stop.
