★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing family run restaurant. Very good food, we had the Turkish Ravioli and Mercimek Koftesi (lentil meatballs). The service is amazing, they are so sweet and helpful. And the view from the terrace is great. Might be a good idea to book ahead as they do not have a lot of tables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly the nicest food in Goreme! The owner is a very nice guy and the food feels traditional, served in local clay pots. The top deck sitting area provides the most magnificent views of the surrounding town and the nearby region. Would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time at this restaurant in August 2020, it was great. Returning in April 2021, the first thing we did was go to this restaurant. DISAPPOINTED COMPLETELY. Lamb Tandoori ordered as usual. Half of the plate is filled with fat. The bread was old and cold. The house wine was disgusting. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of interesting vegetarian options (when you've had 'grilled vegetables' for 10 days in a row this menu is like gates of heaven), very nice room upstairs with open fire and great view. Food tastes fresh, authentic, local, homemade and delicious. Such a shame the next day I went there with long list of things I wanted to try it was close.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I honestly had such a delightful experience here. The view from the terrace was absolutely gorgeous and our server was the SWEETEST. She provided a best in class experience and set a perfect vibe for our late lunch. Additionally THE FOOD was the best I’ve had in Turkey thus far. I had the stuffed meatballs, and beef kebab. Taste and presentation wise was awesome. I hate that I didn’t get my servers name but she had two toned hair and was beautiful inside and out. Thank you to her and to Retro Cappadocia for a perfect experience! Looking forward to returning one day. ?
