★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's simply great place to visit - lots of different models and original mechanisms all over the world, you'll find miniaturized ships and planes, rarity cars like Ford T or Messerschmitt KR200, the historical background of the museum building is also affected telling visitors the story of handicrafts in Ottoman Empire. The whole visit could take up to few hours because exposition is quite huge, but it's really worth it.

Based around the collection of one of the greatest Turkish industrialists, you can find everything here from classic cars over steam-driven machinery and airplanes to technology to art to clothing to examples of life and trade in Turkey through the ages. A nominal fee is charged for entry, but it is well worth it. Be sure to schedule several hours to give the three-building collection its due. Children will enjoy it. It is the perfect rainy day activity, and is excellent on sunny days, as well.
