I left very satisfied in terms of my stay between 2014/2017 and the breakfast, food, the attention of the employees (Emine Hodja especially), safe, clean, close to my school Hacettepe. If I go to Ankara, I will definitely visit.

I stayed in this dormitory between 2007-2008, is the dormitory still active, is it operated by the same people, are the same employees still working, I do not have the slightest knowledge of such matters, so I would like to underline that my comment will only deal with that period. . Rooms, bathrooms and toilets were good, they were cleaned regularly by the ladies. I will not comment on the internet, because the internet was problematic throughout Turkey in those years. Breakfast was inadequate. Food was good in taste, but very bad in variety. While they were eating french fries for breakfast in the morning, they could serve you potatoes as the main course for dinner. When I went to the manager Y to convey his discomfort on this particular issue, I came up with an irrational idea like "what else can we bring out in the season," as if there was no other dish that could be prepared for that evening in the huge, world-renowned Turkish cuisine. had answered. Meat dishes were also sparse, and when they did, the amount of meat in the table d'hote was very little. But I certainly do not find the cooks to blame for this. In the end, the kitchen expenses were covered by the dormitory management. One day, when the main dish was beans with meat, there was 1-2 pieces of cubed meat in the plate given to the students, but I saw that the plate that someone from the dormitory ate was filled to the brim with meat. As for the other staff, a woman named D was standing at the desk, surly, rude, and uninformed about most of the dormitory issues. Although it was paid to have the laundry done, the student, who was a fellow countryman, could be favored in this regard. M and B, who took care of other jobs such as canteen and night square, although they seemed like people with a paternal attitude on the side of students, they were actually protecting the interests of the dormitory administration. By the way, let me talk about an incident that happened to me; Just before the semester break, there was a burglary in the room, his roommate's phone disappeared while it was charging. In the evening of that day, Manager Y called everyone in the room to him and spoke first in a collective speech and then privately with everyone. I don't know what he talked to other friends, but when he couldn't get evasive or contradictory answers that would make him suspect about theft, he suddenly said, "But after you came, the order in the room was broken", although there was not the slightest disagreement or discussion with my roommates until then. So when he couldn't find a deficit, he started hitting the lower back. 2 days later, they somehow identified the roommate whose phone was ringing, called his parents and cut off his relationship with the dormitory. Although 14 years have passed, I still have a feeling; When I was accused of theft for the first and last time in my life and it was understood that I was innocent, not even an apology was made. I think this shame will remain as a black mark on their foreheads forever. I would like to state that I had to change my room in the next few days due to the cold attitude I was exposed to by my roommates, although I had nothing to do with the incident. Probably the reason for this was Director Y's efforts to provoke his friends against him and put him under suspicion. In concluding my comment, I would like to convey my sincere greetings to the chefs Nevzat and Bülent, in case they read this place. They were both really number ten people, I was really happy to get to know them.
