Our cops themselves are clean, but their lodgings are scruffy and dirty-looking. It is such a place for government officials.

These lodgings are cheap with everything - a police officer who has a shortage of livelihoods - paying the loan, or 3, 4, 5, with children - a place to relax with a little bit of his family's hand. Even though I'm not very happy with the neighbors, I think the houses we live in are sufficiently cared for.
