Stunning Ancient City. Pınara offers a lot to explore for the visitors - nature, hiking, scenic walk, rock tombs, amphitheatre and other remains of ancient buildings. The view to the rock face with the rock-cut tombs is amazing. Keep in mind to wear proper shoes for the trip.

An antique city located about an hour drive from Fethiye. The best time to visit is morning or few hours before sunset as there are few options to find a shadow. There are no food or water inside. ?Road: after the turn to Pinara it’s normal county side road(~2-3km). You can park your car near the entrance or even drive inside ~ 0.5km through mountain road but it’s not that easy to turn back as the road is narrow.? ?Places to see: amphitheatre and ruins of several other buildings. The most interesting things are the location itself and the nature. There are a lot of olive trees, meadows between the mountains. You will be impressed how humans could construct a city in such a remote location without electricity and machines. Animals: you will see mountain goats ? and few dogs defending them. ?Working hours: check on the website before you go as it may be closed for a whole day. ?Entrance fee: in spring 2021 it was free Nearest place to eat: on the way to Patara beach Is it possible to visit Pinara together with Tlos: yes, it’s the best option as both sites are not full-day options.

Must see if you like ancient sites. It is one of the most impressive city of Lycia civilication. Not excavated yet. You will see a full theater, a huge temple at the highest position with the beautiful view of Ak Mountain and the rock cut tumbs on a vertical rock surface at the back. Loved it. Reached by a dirty road but ok.

A magical place. You will feel that you're traveling in time. The city is so huge and I took hours of walking just to see few places. The view and the feeling is unforgettable. I highly recommend this place for people who like history and nature. Although the road is rough to get up there you can take a walk from below ir have a jeep car.

Nice antique city, not very famous and touristic so good solitude. Amphitheater is perfect and still intact. It's a wonderful pine and oak forest around, that makes the place mysterious too. Parking and toilet is available here.

Not much left except for the theatre. The location is great however much of the way up is not great if your car is not equipped for offroad. You may wanna park the car right at the bottom of the hill where the village is. If you are interested in hiking, wonderful views and great nature.

Nice antic spot to visit. It is mostly ruined, but still a nice possibility to see mix of wonderfful nature and pretty unexcavated ruins. Yes, there is few paths to reach little by little directly rock with numerous tombs above. In january 2022 entrance fee was free. Road it self is good, 2/3 Is covered by paving slabs, after begins sand (which is also ok to drive), and last 500 meters road is not yet completely finished, and can be a problem for car (we left car before this mess) But road construction works were on progress, we saw workers and vehicles, so I believe that road will be finished very soon
