Really good Turkish restaurant just next to the beach. The vibe of the restaurant is really fency and elegant. Staff is friendly. Food is delicious and price very reasonable

I went to Petek Mutfak to have a really good meal. I had high expectations... I ordered 'şiş kebab'. The meat was okay but it was a really tiny portion. Only five or six little peaces of meat and two pieces of fat, I mean subcutaneous fat. I don't eat much salt but this meal had NO salt. No salad, just some slides of onion. Nothing else. As a starter they served old bread and a tiny cup of oil... maybe the cook saw this in a documentary about Italian kitchen... No idea... but I'm sure that Italians would serve quality olive oil and fresh bread. They try to give themselves an image of high quality restaurant. But this is far far away from 'haute cuisine'. You don't become a Michelin-star chef by serving tiny portions and some slices of onion. A peace of paper tastes better than this bread. The bill: Really expensive if you live in Turkey. But even for European expectations this restaurant isn't worth it. Go somewhere else. My advice concerning Turkish restaurants in Turkey: Try not to eat any meat in summer. Try to avoid meat. You should prefer soups, salads or vegetarian meals.
