The cars are not allowed into the archeological site. You have to walk from the ticket office to the ruines which are on top of the hill. Make sure that you have water and comfortable shoes.

There is 1,5 Km of wall from the entrance till the first remains, but the place if very likable. Avoid the hottest day! A lot of construction basements and the streets are still recognizable. The best place: the guard tower and the catacombs!

Closed to visitors at the time (October 2021). A tower, the temple and the position of the acropolis are visible. Access allowed only to private owners of nearby lands. Escavations are still ongoing. I'd love to visit again when it will reopen.

Sorry, but it is closed. Maybe because of the danger of fires. Even the app kentkart mobile shows a bus line 2-2 going directly, no bus driver in Bodrum knows this line and it isn't available in Bodrum central Bus Station (Bodrum otogar). Take 2-27. Leider geschlossen. Vermutlich wegen Waldbrandgefahr. Bu "site" halka kapalıdır.

Its a shame how this beautiful historical place is left without the attention it deserves I recommend that you visit it of you are into historical places. The Natural view is very beautiful and the surroundings. It needs more details and at least one local guide to explain to the visitors the historical facts.

With a smooth trekking in a beautiful nature, you may reach the ancient city of Pedesa and enjoy the Bodrum view from the mountains.

Managed to drive right to this spot on Google maps, and park on a paved road, but it’s really tight so just pray you don’t run into other cars. You can get a decent view of bodrum here! Also we climbed the rock path but actually there are stairs.
