أَنْتَ الَّذِى وَلَدَتْكَ اُمُّكَ بَاكِياً
وَالنَّاسُ حَوْلَكَ يَضْحَكُونَ سُرُورًا
فَاعْمَلْ لِيَوْمٍ تَكُونُ فِيهِ اِذَا بَكَوْا
فىِ يَوْمِ مَوْتِكَ ضَاحِكاً مَسْرُورًا
Sen ki annenden doğup geldiğin gün dünyaya,
Ağlıyordun; bütün âlem gülüyordu bir yanda,
Şimdi öyle bir ömür sür ki, ölürken gülesin;
Çağlasın gözyaşı hâlinde cihân arkanda…
 In order to give the last breath with this peace, an Arab poet advises:

You who were born the day you were born from your mother,
You were crying The whole world was laughing on one side,
Now live such a life that you laugh while dying;
The world is behind you in tears of the waterfall ...
