 Side by side with Patara beach. The beach and the sea are beautiful. The ancient city is big and beautiful. There is an entrance fee to the beach. Food and beverage sales are available at the facilities on the beach. Prices are moderate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oldukça kapsamlı restorasyonlar yapılmış. Bir tarafta orijinal doku, diğer bir tarafta restore edilmiş güncel tiyatro. Antik yol vs. Çok güzel. Ama bence üzerine biraz daha düşülebilir.
Extensive restorations have been made. The original texture on one side and the restored contemporary theater on the other. Ancient road vs. Very nice. But I think it could be a little more.

Beautiful but neglected. There is garbage on the ground. Some restored steps were broken. It could have been made better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Древний портовый город Патара , который упоминается в Библии. Театр очень понравился. Может он не самый большой. Но наверно лучше всех сохранился. Видно что много всего оригинального. Очень атмосферно. И красивый вид с театра. Рекомендую посетить. Хорошо отреставрировали. Театр находился рядом с побережьем. Но сейчас море далеко отступило.
The ancient port city of Patara, which is mentioned in the Bible. I liked the theater very much. Maybe it's not the biggest. But probably the best preserved. It can be seen that a lot of things are original. Very atmospheric. And a beautiful view from the theater. I recommend visiting. Well restored. The theater was located near the coast. But now the sea has receded far.

During the early eastern Roman. A wall was later built between the seats and the stage to enable gladiator and wild animal fights. The arena is still in a state of disrepair and it is dangerous to try to access the seating area. Most of the area is fenced off but there is an entrance on the left side so you can view the interior.
