On April 30, 2018, we went to berat kandili for the evening prayer. Azan was read, there was no teacher, no muezzin, no congregation inside. We were the only one. We performed our own prayers. Where is the teacher, where is the congregation, where is the mufti?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PARK CAMİİ; Nevşehir’li heykeltraş Hakkı Atamulu (1912-2006)’nun tasarımı. Yapımı, tam 18 sene (1971-1989) sürmüş. Başlangıçta anıt yapmak üzere yola çıkan Atamulu daha sonra anıttan vazgeçerek tasarımını camiye dönüştürmüş. Minaresi son derece ilginç ve görülmeye değer.
PARK MOSQUE; The design of the sculptor Hakkı Atamulu (1912-2006) from Nevsehir. Its construction took 18 years (1971-1989). Atamulu, who initially set out to make a monument, later gave up the monument and turned his design into a mosque. Its minaret is extremely interesting and worth seeing.

Probably one of the differences with Turkey should be particularly attracted our attention most of the minaret of the mosque. It was built by Hakkı Atamulu, a deep-seated sculptor when he was the mayor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hayatımda gördüğüm en ilginç minareye sahip cami. Otobüsle geçerken minareyi görüp şaşırmıştım. Buranın bir cami olduğunu söylenilince şaşkınlığım daha da artmıştı. Sıradan bir mütahit tarafından yapılmayıp bir sanatçının elinden çıktığı daha ilk andan belli oluyor.
The mosque with the most interesting minaret I have ever seen. I was surprised to see the minaret while passing by the bus. When I was told that this place is a mosque, I was even more surprised. It is evident from the very first moment that it is not made by an ordinary builder, but an artist.
