Şu an ziyarete açık olan kilise bakımsızdır fakat harika kubbesi, uzunca çan kulesi ve yıpranan freskleri ile gezilmeye değer bir yerdir. Ünlü yönetmen Elia Kazan'ın memleketi Germir'dir. Bu nedenle geçmişte Elia Kazan'ın da katılımıyla bu kilisede çeşitli etkinlikler düzenlenmiştir.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malesef çok kötü durumda, daha kötülerini de gördüm lakin yerleşim merkezinin bu kadar içinde olup da bu durumda olan ve de kendi kendine değil insanlar tarafından virane haline getirilen bir yapı. Kayseri deki kültürel zenginlikler merkez Anadolu da başka bir yerde yok ama bir o kadar da ilgilenen yok.

Doğu ve batı yönünde üç nefli basilikal planlı olarak inşa edilen kilise kübik beden duvarları , merkezi kubbesi ve kuzeybatıdaki çan kulesi ile anıtsal bir görünüşe sahiptir.

The church, which was built with a three-nave basilical plan in the east and west directions, has a monumental appearance with its cubic body walls, central dome and bell tower in the northwest.
