★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth the effort to hike up the hill to see this. They put in massive efforts to restore this monument and it is a sight to behold.
Coming in the early morning would have been a lot better with the light direction right onto centre stage!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The amphitheater scene is pretty abundant in the southern parts of Turkey so you might come across a large number. This one is pretty easy to reach since you would already be in pamukkale, you’d just have to hike a little and you’re there. It’s pretty and you surely can’t go down to the center but still it is a sight for the eye. Usually it is not crowded so you can easily take pictures there too! There’s also an option to dress as a gladiator (for an extra charge of course).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is just wow... A real wonder. You have to give ut sometime to really enjoy the scene. If you are a history lover, you will be wondering how people built it about 2000 years ago when there were no crains or so.
The theatre, the stage, the place where the major authorities were sitting are all simply stunning.
The best part I realised is, when you talk in a little louder, it can be very clearly heard at the very bottom or at the top. A great engineering example. Hats off to constructors, engineers and the designers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained amphitheatre in hierapolis ancient city. You can see many amphitheatres in Turkey like in Ephesus, Aspendos..etc and this one is very unique and well restoreted. When you get there don't forget your water, sunglasses, snacks and sunscreen. Because inside you need these and they are expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For any sane person with a semblance of historical attraction and consumption, this site will and should overwhelm you. It gives you the simultaneous feeling of utter amazement and gloominess straightaway. The grandeous nature and the history which the whole place oozes is just outrageously good!
I'd say this place is comparable to any Greek amphitheatre around Europe and deserves more traffic!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular!!! Speechless!!! Gorgeous!! We took buggy car from south gate entrance. Even it was 10 am it was so hot to claim up. Buggy was around 300 lira, to see all historical sights.
