This dorm is bad, but not terrible. I would highly recommend looking for some other place to stay at. The rooms have 3 or 4 (Mine had 4) and inside the rooms there is nothing other than beds and closets, so no desk, no showers per room, and no mini-fridges. The food is terrible in general, but that is also true of most dorms in Ankara. Doing your laundry is such a chore here. First, you have to go to any of the personnel who could be unavailable for any reason. Then, if washing machines are available (They are not available everyday, and there are only 5 washing machines for the entire dorm.) Finally, you have to PAY for the privilege of using them. And after waiting for your laundry to be done, you are going to be faced with another problem: drying your laundry. If you chose to go the natural drying route, there are not enough places to dry your laundry in general during the weekends. And if you chose to use the drier, you would have to go to the management again so that they would open the washing machine room. The location of the dorm is very good, an 8-minutes walk away from a metro station, and about the same distance away from a collection of bus stops. Internet is good in general, and the walls of the dorm do a good job of keeping the cold away (which is not a guarantee in all dorms) Overall, having seen other dorms, I would suggest looking for other options.
